Celeritas World's Fastest 3D Printer Concept, 48mm Stepper Upgrade, CroXY Carbon Fiber Tubes Part 8
I had high hopes for the ebay Sanyo Denki steppers. They could not handle allot of acceleration without locking up. I also noticed my pullies were not concentric. They have an unusual 4mm shaft diameter. That made finding pullies a challenge. I got a pretty good deal on some stepperonline (OMC) 48mm steppers. They have a pretty low inductance. I actually see an improvement in print quality. I have a very small orange peal line quality on my outside layer lines that's bugging me. I'm trying to achieve long flat lines.

Bowdimus Maximus High Performance Bowden Extruder For CoreXY CrossXY CroXY

I have also gone through same thing. Got good results with plastic bushing initially. I used drill with smooth linear rod run it until no binding while bushing were installed in the part. Then tried graphite long bushing which are too heavy 8x12x45. Then changed design again to use 8x10x20 and used two while saving 9 grams per bushing. However perfectly aligning two bushing in ABS part is difficult. I had to used soldering iron which is 8 mm in diameter and aligned them at around 280c as soon as bushing got hot while installed in parts i turned off iron and let it cool to be remain aligned. However corexy put too much load on Y axis bushing when if i want to run system stiffer for high accell, on low belt tension input shaper is all over the place. So no real good alternate for me on corexy. I can make a short video explaining all my failures if you want.

You will need slomoguys to be able to catch movement at that speed :)) Now all the air is going first on the bed and is getting hotter, maybe to blow somehow from top to bed ? i'm struggling to get my printers fix each 2 days, not an expert so it is just an ideea. Also, like you said, maybe they cancel each other in the center, try to print on the side the test cube. You can adjust the flow for testing with someething to partially block or adjust the internal oppenings.

For the cooling add one more fan to each and make in the air nozzle three air chambers ( like three straws next to each other) one for the back, middle and front, If you just want to keep the two fans you got you have to make a nozzle that has three air chambers one for the back, middle and front. rotating it will also help one less bend it has to make.

Fire keep it up, this maybe a stupid thought but would glass rods work better than the carbon fiber ones? If those bushing don't work the best you could try full carbon bushings and see tho I don't know if they will hold up to the load. you could also add a magnet into the two carbon fiber tubes then where you have the screws, add a concave magnet into that top part. Also another big stupid but may work could you use a or two new or old xbox kinects to do bed leveling and meshing?

If you use glass tubes you could still do the magnet thing I mentioned before, the only thing Is don't know how or if using glass tubes would hold up to the load unlike using a full glass rod should. As for the Xbox Kinect that's just a big maybe with a mix of I don't know if it would work, like it should and would make things a whole lot faster, wouldn't add weight to any moving parts.

All these devices have a default Admin password. Usually 456 for these VVX phones. If the password has been changed and you don't know it, you can enter the MAC Address of the device (found on the label on the back/bottom of phone) at that special prompt after doing the 1, 3, 5 key hold. The MAC only works when doing the 1, 3, 5 key hold at boot up. This is the "last resort" method so the device is not un-usable if the Admin password is unknown. I love these VVX phones, the 411 is really high quality, designed well, looks great, good build quality too. Very satisfying to use this phone. We had them at my office and I bought a New one on ebay to use personally at home. Kind of a waste since smartphones have HD Audio and work fine, plus you need to pay for a VOIP account. But I like the feel of the desk phone. However I ended up not using it much. It's great though for calls where you have to enter in a lot of numbers and wait on Hold.

I still use it occasionally and it does a decent job. The easy bed leveling, wifi connection, color screen, and camera are things I like and newer machines are just getting. Yea, it's loud and slow and the print quality is so-so by today's standards. I would love to get a newer 3D printer but will use this one until it dies for now.

3 things: 1) you should have also greased the slip joint in the rear shaft while you had it out. 2) You should have marked the exact clocking of the yoke and shaft before removing it, so it can be put back in the same spot. (Not doing so can cause a serious vibration). 3) Who do you think is paying for trump tariffs??? WE ARE!!! While you complain about paying PREMIUM PRICES for China made stuff, you are looking at the wrong end of the dollar.... Follow it to the people who are buying new yachts and vacation homes for their cats....... Timkin was made in the USA, but everything can be made far cheaper in China. They do have to make the bearings to Timken specs and they do QC their goods, but the fact is, the only way the insanely rich keep getting richer is to charge more and pay less.... Read Forbe's and Fortune 500 etc. Last, before I buy anything for my truck, I check online Ford factory parts and prices. You would be surprised how much better the quality normally is and the ONLINE prices are sometimes FAR CHEAPER than Auto Zone off brands and the like... Just bought a FORD factory upper rad hose today. $21 and change. A Dayton, (NOT exact fit), was 46 bucks local and it's not even close.. Gates brand has always been good, but no one had it and it was far more money than the Dayton!!! My hose lasted 140K miles. Another should last the same... I'll stick with FORD.....
